How do I access the pastor at Spirit of Christ MCC:

First, the pastor is available during business hours. Tue through Fri from 10AM untill 5PM. Then he is at the church every Sunday from 10AM untill 2PM available to you. After 3PM this is a time of reflection for the pastor to prepare for service

PLEASE do not just drop in. You see some people are shy and if they have an appointment with the pastor; they may be seeking confidentiality and not want you to know they are here.

CELEBRATING Christ

Often called Communion, Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper or the Passover Meal we refer to our table as the Celebration Meal.  Many denominations place restrictions on this table including who may participate in it, how it is served and the very nature of the meal itself.

At Spirit of Christ MCC we celebrate an open and emerging style table which means we place no restrictions on the “who” or the “how” in which we offer this table. You do not have to be a member of our church or any organized place of faith or worship to freely participate in God’s love and the celebration of this gift called Jesus.

You are empowered to serve yourself.  Juice (non-alcoholic) and wafers are provided for you, your spouse, your family and you may serve each other or simple partake of the elements provided.  Participate alone or take with a friend, invite a visitor to take with you but do so knowing that nowhere in scripture does it say how often, who must serve or in what manner you should do this.  Take a moment to say a prayer and celebrate Christ.

We believe that this table is to be taken as often as you wish only remembering that Christ said, “Do this in remembrance of me.”  Paul teaches that we are to do it with a right heart and we believe that is between you and God.  We are not here to judge or restrict God’s gifts or table.
