Long term recovery is a simple but difficult reality following any natural disaster of the magnitude that hit Joplin, MO on May 22, 2011!

We have continued to work in and around our community since the storm sixteen months ago.  There is still much to do yet we must strengthen who we are to be able to serve others.

As we continue into the new year we look around and see our ministries we were told we could never do being done each and every day!  But like so many places of great environmental disaster we have a long way to go.

We want to encourage our members and supporters to use this time to fulfill some of our needs:

Our ministry in Joplin, MO;

Food ministry;

Rx ministry;

Outreach ministry to the EQ at MSSU;

Outreach ministry to the GSA at Pittsburg State University;

Transgender Support Group; and

Outreach in over a 130 mile Radius.

Are you a grant writer or have successful experience in grant writing... we need your help!  Grants are available to help many of our needs but we need someone with the knowledge of completing this process to help.
